Description: 

A herbaceous plant with fleshy tuberous roots.

Leaves are bright green, ligulate, strap-like 60cm long x 7cm wide.

Spectacular flower heads on 45-75cm stems containing many brilliant orange or flame red funnel shapes flowers with a yellow throat.

Flowers are seen late winter to early summer.

Clivia's are ideal for dry shade, under tress, it is easy to grow as long as it has excellent drainage and shade.

Evergreen.

Uses: 

Areas of dry shade i.e south side of houses, under house eaves, under trees.

Can be grown in containers. Very easy to maintain.

With their shiny leaves and bright flowers they brighten up a dark shady spot in the garden.
