Description: 

An unusual fuchsia, with clusters of lilac flowers in spring to summer.

Flowers are slender, tubular in large terminal clusters.

Flowers may develop into round, black edible berries.

It is very easy to grow and forms a bushy tree if left untrimmed.

Leaves are glossy, the shape is narrow, elliptic to oblanceolate, 20 x 8cm.

Frost tender.

H: 2.5 x 1.5m

Uses: 

Grown for its flowers and foliage. The fruits are edible and both fruits and flowers are popular with birds and bees.

Propagation: 

By cuttings, high strike rate.
