Description:
Leaves are almost flat, rounded and can be lime green to blue green in colour, up to 70cm long.
Inflorescence an arching spike, 2 - 4.5m long, displays pale yellow flowers.
It can take up to 10 years to produce a flower.
Native to Mexico.
Ideal as a feature plant and popular as they lack teeth (spikes) along the leaf.
Frost tender, plant in full sun and free draining soil.
Ht up to 1m x 1.5m
Uses:
Mediterranean themed gardens, statement planting, mass planting, container planting.
Propagation:
By offsets which the main plant produces.
