Description:
New Zealand native small tree. The light green pinnate leaves have 3-5 pairs of leaflets with a single terminal leaflet.
The underside of the leaves, stems and new growth has a reddish tinge.
Tiny cream flowers in panicles cover the tree in Spring and are followed by clouds of pinkish red seed capsules.
A small tree that looks good all year round. Requires shelter from strong winds and frost.
