Description:
An attractive evergreen NZ native tree with a spreading canopy. Titoki has large glossy mid-green pinnate leaves, with serrated edges and the new growth has a reddish tinge. Bears tiny petal-less flowers that have a rusty hue and is followed by scarlet red seed capsules. Will grow in most situations but prefers some shelter. Young trees may need protection from frosts.
