Description: 

An aloe which is tree like, with heads of broad fleshy red tinted spiny leaves that grow up to 1m long.

The leaves are edged with strong red-brown teeth.

Branched inflorescences with spikes of orange red and golden yellow flowers, are seen from late winter.

Flowers are bird attracting.

Leaf colour changes when plant is stressed due to low water.

Prefers full sun and good drainage. Protect from frost

North facing areas, banks, containers, bird attracting, winter flowering, coastal areas
