Description:
An rare evergreen shrub, native to Japan and Korea, that is slow growing with slender, spreading branches.
Leaves are oval to obovate up to 8cm x 3cm.
Flowers are inconspicuous, 5-6mm, off white in colour, followed by small glossy berries.
Is in the same family as Camellias and prefers the same conditions.
Ht: up to 1.5 x 1.3m
Uses:
Ornamental, grown for its foliage.
