Description: 

A striking vigorous climber that will quickly cover a fence or trellis, this twining tropical-looking plant has large wine coloured patterned leaves and distinctive purple stems.

From mid summer plants are covered with spikes of pretty pea or bean like Lilac Rose blossoms, which are scented.

These flowers are then followed by shiny flat pods of a striking bright prurple colour
