Description:
A New Zealand native evergreen tree or shrub, forms a many branched round headed shape.
Is a member of the citrus family and emits a pleasant scent from the oil glands that are dotted along the leaves, flowers and young branchlets, when bruised.
The leaves are shiny light green, trifoliate, 5 to 10cm long with a wavy margin.
Small flowers in early spring are followed by seed capsules that open to expose shiny black seeds.
Can grow in coastal areas, and is slightly frost tender.

Uses:
Can be used as a screen, specimen or in a container, responds to trimming.
