Description: 

Evergreen shrub with small leathery leaves and small edible berries that ripen in March. It has a taste of a combination of strawberry, pineapple and apple. Plant in full sun or part shade.

Tolerates a wide range of soil conditions. Responds well to trimming and shaping. Can be susceptible to thrips.

Once established the plants do not mind drought conditions but watering during establishment is a good idea. A good thick mulch/compost is also appreciated.

Vegetable garden as topiary, hedging or shrub. Kids gardens, scented gardens.

Easily by cuttings
